Area charges are also outlined in our rates information. The initials CA stand for "Cash Advance" which is where we notate what amount Legal Express fronted for a given task (NOTE: Legal Express always asks for authorization before taking the initiative to advance fees. We do not want to incur additional charges without approval). In addition to the cash advance notation, there is a spot listed as CAF which designates "Cash Advance Fee." All cash advances incur an additional charge of 10% of the cash advance with a $5.00 minimum (so a $10.00 cash advance will incur a $5.00 cash advance fee which a $147.00 cash advance will incur a $14.70 cash advance fee). Wait Time is where Legal Express charges for the time a runner has to wait for a task to be completed (see details about this).
